Himalayan Black-lored Tit

Himalayan Black-lored Tit Machlolophus xanthogenys is very closely related to Yellow-cheeked Tit M. spilonotus. In China recorded only on Nepalese border with Tibet around Zhangmu (Shigatse Prefecture). Distinguished from Yellow-cheeked Tit by black lores and forehead, broader black stripe behind eye, more uniformly greenish upperparts, and brighter yellow underparts. — Craig Brelsford
