Northern Pika Ochotona hyperborea, Greater Khingan Range, Yikesama National Forest, Hulunbeier Prefecture, Inner Mongolia, China, July. Northern Pika has the widest distribution of any pika. Occurs from the Urals to Hokkaido, with range extending into Northeast China. Pelage reddish brown in summer, greyer in winter. (Craig Brelsford)
