Yellow-billed Blue Magpie

Yellow-billed Blue Magpie Urocissa flavirostris in China is restricted to southeast Tibet and western Yunnan. Very similar to Red-billed Blue Magpie U. erythroryncha. Differs in having yellow bill and much more extensively black hood, with white area reduced to a small, crescent-shaped nape patch. Generally at higher elevations than Red-billed Blue Magpie. Similar behavior, diet, and vocalizations. — Craig Brelsford
