Desert Whitethroat
Desert Whitethroat Curruca curruca minula is paler and occurs in drier habitats than other races of Lesser Whitethroat. In Xinjiang we recorded Desert Whitethroat at sites throughout the Jungar Basin. We recorded the specimen shown here in mid-July at Beishawo (44.374603, 87.881042), elev. 450 m (1,470 ft.).
