Spot-winged Rosefinch Carpodacus rodopeplus is resident in Nyalam County, Tibet. Range does not abut that of Sharpe’s Rosefinch C. verreauxii. ID & COMPARISON Slightly larger, stockier, and larger-billed than Sharpe’s Rosefinch. Male darker, female slightly browner and has fainter streaking, especially on rump.
