Taiwan Bush Robin Tarsiger formosanus, male. Taiwan Bush Robin and White-browed Bush Robin T. indicus indicus and T. i. yunnanensis inhabit dense undergrowth from 2000–3400 m (6,560–11,160 ft.), in winter down to 1000 m (3,280 ft.). Usually in denser undergrowth than Collared Bush RobinT. johnstoniae and has entirely rufous-orange underparts. Distinguished from Snowy-browed FlycatcherFicedula hyperythra by longer and finer supercilium and from Indian Blue RobinLarvivora brunnea by darker legs and more upright stance. Tarsiger formosanus is endemic to Taiwan and T. indicus indicus and T. i. yunnanensis range from central Himalayas to south-central China and Vietnam.
